Our knowledgeable, English-speaking, licensed guide will pick you up at your hotel in Mérida in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle at a time that you decide.
On the way to your primary destination, he can suggest various places to stop, such as:

- Haciendas (Spanish colonial plantations)
- Cenotes (natural wells, sacred to the Maya)
- Unique talented artisans
- Small towns and villages
You set the pace of the day’s journey, spending as much time at each location as you please.
Your guide is a Yucatecan who knows the sites and the area well, can give you informed tours on the Maya ceremonial centres and can answer your questions about sacred Maya ancient wisdom and current Maya customs and traditions.
I Chichen Itzá and Cenote Ik Kil
In this tour we visit Chichen Itzá, the most famous Maya site in the Yucatán. Your guide will lead you through the site to the pyramid of Kukulkan, the ball court, the observatory, the sacred well, and more. He can answer your questions about the site and give you as much time as you want for personal exploration.
When you feel you have seen enough, your guide will take you to the cenote Ik Kil where you can swim in the refreshing water and enjoy a relaxing lunch, before returning to your hotel in Mérida. .

II Uxmal
On our way to the ancient Mayan site of Uxmal, you can stop at a typical local market or visit a colonial hacienda.
At Uxmal, your guide will tour the site with you, showing you the pyramid of the Magician, the nunnery quadrangle, the governor’s palace and more. You can have time to explore on your own, climb to the top of the pyramid, and connect with the energy of this beautiful spiritual Maya site.
There are many places for lunch in the Uxmal area. One suggestion might be a late lunch at a restored hacienda on the way back to Mérida. It’s a beautiful spot with good food and an interesting artesania market.

III Loltun caves
This trip takes you to discover the spectacular caves of Loltun. You can see the natural limestone formations under the guidance of our licensed guide. To the ancient Mayas, these caves were sacred as they believed they were the entrance to the Heart of the Earth and the Mayan underworld with the Goddess IX MU KANE.

IV Izamal
This day we visit Izamal also called the “yellow city” named for its colonial buildings painted in a rich mustard color. After visiting the famous convent founded by the infamous Fray Diego de Landa, we´ll visit the site of Kinich Kakmo, where the Mayan prophet is said to be buried. Enjoy a traditional Yucateco lunch (the main meal of the day) and still have time to do a little shopping at Hecho a Mano before retuning to Mérida.

V Dzibilchaltun and the Progreso Beach
Dzibilchaltun is probably the oldest Maya city on the Peninsula and it is just north of Mérida. We will get there in the morning, tour the museum and the site and possibly enjoy a swim in the cenote. Mid-day we will head out to Progreso, for a seafood feast and a chance to see how Mexicans enjoy their beaches!
